What should be produced? Name the product, quantity, component count, audience, viewing distance, and whether it is for identification, direction, promotion, privacy, display, or another use.

Also note whether the finished piece will be used indoors, outdoors, or in a protected setting, plus the intended display period. Those answers help narrow the format, material, print or paint method, and finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to get a sign?

Timing depends on the product, quantity, material availability, artwork readiness, final-dimension approval, proof decisions, cut or fabrication needs, finish, and packaging scope. Share the date you need the finished production so feasibility can be reviewed without assuming a fixed turnaround.

Who supplies measurements and installs the signs?

The customer or qualified installer supplies and approves all final field dimensions, site verification, mounting design, and hole specifications. San Diego Sign Boys produces the order from those approved details and does not provide site surveys, field measurements, installation labor, or installer scheduling. See the installer-handoff requirements.

What is outside the production scope?

Site surveys, field verification, mounting design, structural suitability, electrical decisions, permits, code compliance, access planning, installation, on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance stay with the customer and appropriately qualified professionals. Those services are not included in a San Diego Sign Boys production quote.

What artwork should I send?

Send the best source files you have—ideally editable vector artwork when available—plus exact copy, dimensions, brand standards, fonts or outlined type, reference images, and known colors. Final requirements depend on the selected output and size; see the artwork setup guide.

What if my artwork is not finished?

Send what exists and describe what is missing: a usable logo file, layout, exact copy, color references, or production setup. The files can be reviewed to identify what still must be supplied or separately approved before production; start with the artwork setup guide.

What happens after I submit the form?

Your product type, final dimensions, quantity, artwork, material and finish preferences, written tolerances, component list, and handoff requirements form the starting point. Missing production variables can be clarified before the scope is quoted or approved.

Ready for a Quick Quote?

Send the product or component list, customer- or installer-verified final dimensions, quantity, artwork, material and finish preferences, written tolerances, and handoff requirements. We'll use those details to identify the right production path and any open specification questions.

Production only. The customer and qualified installer retain responsibility for the site, mounting, permits, code compliance, access, and installation.
